Dr. Matthew D. Hepler

Matthew D Hepler, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in both adult and pediatric spine surgery. He has a subspecialty interest in complex spine reconstruction including scoliosis, kyphosis, and spondylolisthesis but treats all spine conditions including disc herniations, radiculopathy, discogenic disc disease, lumbar and cervical stenosis, traumatic and osteoporotic fractures. Dr. Hepler graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins University (BA) where he was an All-American swimmer and water polo player. He then completed his post- graduate training at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons (MD and residency) in New York City under full scholarship where he received his medical degree. He also received his orthopaedic residency training in NYC at New York Orthopaedic Hospital and adult and pediatric spine fellowship training at the renowned Twin Cities Spine and Scoliosis Center (Fellowship), Minneapolis Minnesota. Dr. Hepler is an adult and pediatric spine surgeon who treats all conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He offers a complete range of treatment options including nonoperative modalities such as pain medications, steroid injections, and physical therapy and operative treatment including both minimally invasive techniques and complex reconstruction.
