Drafting and Photometric Consulting was started to diversify my knowledge and abilities in the architectural and lighting communities. It was only after starting this company that I could see how my abilities could truly provide a symbiotic relationship with other companies, but only if I could support them from outside of the industry on my own. Let’s say you go through a large company in the traditional sense to get some technical service; before you get down to the actual person servicing your project, the company has already calculated into the price you pay the technician’s salary, computer, software licenses, training, and then they tack on their fees so they make money too. The untraditional sense is where I can save you time and money. Since I do not have all of the overhead that a traditional company has, I can charge significantly less for the same project. My company is designed so you can make more money by selling my lower-cost services with a higher profit margin. I provide all of the licenses, computer hardware, and experience and I charge you significantly less than larger corporations.
