Dragonfly Design

Gretchen Throop Williams is the principal of Dragonfly Design. Her graphics career began in San Francisco working on high-end Powerpoint presentations, working with some of the Bay Area's largest production companies. This work has brought her all over the world for on-site production support. In Gretchen began working in Macromedia Flash and HTML, branching into website design, as well as create animations for "walk-ins" at corporate events. When the dot-com bubble burst in the Bay Area in she turned her primary focus to Flash. She trained at Center for Electronic Art (CEA) for Flash and Illustrator over the next two years and took classes with Russell Chun (author of the Visual Quckpro Guide for Flash Advanced). Dragonfly Design now creates graphics for everything that's viewed on the computer screen. Gretchen now specializes in bringing video and sound to the screen through Flash as well, creating boutique websites and still travelling to be the graphics operator and onsite Powerpoint/Keynote guru at corporate events around the country. Her vocabulary in Flash, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Keynote and Illustrator are solidly at master levels. The attributes that Gretchen is most often praised for are; being fast and accurate, fun to work with, highly skilled, always finding ways to get the job done and maintaining a complete commitment to the work.
