Dream Plast

Dream Plast is a subsidiary of Gruppo Sunino from Italy. It is into plastic injection technology for food packaging industry. The group is more than 50 years old and has a rich history of being amongst the preferred suppliers of prestigious customers such as Ferrero, Arzana, Mattel, Fisher Price etc. The company specializes in creating infrastructure and quality (its USP!) that are extremely important for the food packaging industry. A lot of emphasis is paid on Factory & Personal hygiene and maintaining close to clean room conditions. Dream Plast was incorporated in Pune (India) in 2010. It grew tremendoesly in these years, setting up 1 factory every year (by 2015 the number was 6 factories). The Company is now consolidating its operations & merging the operations in the same city into large individual operations. This consolidation will result in the Company running 2 factories located at Chakan & Baramati (in vicinity of Pune) with a total built-up space of sqm. Dream Plast currently produces Plastic Promotional Toys. The daily production is more than a million toys (nearly five million pieces considering the child parts). This high volume is achieved with the help of lean manufacturing and in-house man-machine-material strengths. The Company has 50+ injection molding machines, 35+ pad-printing and 35+ ultrasonic welding machines. The Company employs about people including those required to perform value addition operations viz. painting, pad-printing, sonic welding and assembly. The entire sourcing and supply chain is internally developed and capable to turn-around more than 200 MT of raw material every month. Dream Plast is now planning its next phase of investment to prepare itself for further growth in the next years, expanding its current operations further and expecting to employ more than people by the end of 2017. The Company is poised to become an important player, not only for the market but also for the Gruppo Sunino.
