I formed Drew Roemer Services ( in order to "fill a need" that has become increasingly evident to me over the past decade, perhaps more. I provide consultation to individuals, small fleet operators, and "conventional" dealers enabling them to thrive, even in this, the age of the mega-dealer, the “Walmartization” of our formerly quaint, loveable, if oddly backward industry. Don’t get me wrong, the "big box", multi-location dealership model has lots of pluses, but just not the ones they tout in press releases anMy newest service is a marketplace through which a seller of equipment- dealer, farmer, business and individual alike- can put to work my skillset to get their machinery sold, retaining a higher percentage of their initial investment than they might have if they had traded. And most people will agree, a buyer without a trade has power! At the core of our menu is the “Hyper-Local” 30-day package ($49), with an emphasis on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Google Shopping, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist(some markets) and more. Sellers are provided with tools for advertising machinery, including time-tested tips that will result in a listing that is what buyers want – transparent, accurate, thorough and personal. That’s right, our buyers are encouraged to interject something about themselves or their machinery, putting a personal touch in an otherwise commercial advertising medium. Maybe a photo of the barn where the tractor was stored, or an action shot, or one depicting the result of work done by the machine, be it a beautiful lawn, perfectly-formed, bale, etc. And yes, videos are welcome! For an additional $50 we offer “The Full Pull”, adding the listing to our landing page on Equipment Trader, a leading site with over unique visitors monthly, and receiving additional exposure through search engine optimization.
