Drill Films
Drill Films is an award-winning wildlife documentary production company focusing on science and conservation in order to advance research and promote awareness for the world's endangered species and places. Recent clients include BBC Natural History Unit and The Smithsonian Channel. Drill Films was founded in 2010 by Justin Jay for the production of "El Proyecto del Mono Dril", the first film to capture footage of wild drill monkeys (Mandrillus leucophaeus poensis) and is used to promote awareness within their native regions to curb the illegal bushmeat hunting and trade. The production company now specializes in frontline documentary filmmaking with an emphasis on conservation and environmental protection. By applying new camera tech and specializing in tried-and-true fieldcraft techniques, Drill Films is able to go where others have not been able.
