Drishya was never about chasing trends or building something big by selling fast fashion under a label. It started as a passion project in a small room with no grand vision. We wanted to build something that not only puts a smile on your face when you wear it, but also supports the livelihoods of skilled local tailors, follows ethical production practices, and keeps the process honest and responsible. Over time, what started as a brand by women for women, naturally grew to include other demographics who shared the same values. Every single piece at Drishya India is made entirely by hand. No machines. No factories. Just skilled tailors who hand-stitch each garment from start to finish with love and care. We work with vegetable dyes and traditional techniques like hand block printing, rooted in our land and culture. In our small attempt to do things the right way and not just the easy way, we make sure that nothing here is mass produced. Your pieces are made to order or created in small batches, allowing us to avoid unnecessary waste, stay intentional and make sure we never compromise on quality or care. Moreover, our packaging is completely eco friendly, made from recycled paper and is fully biodegradable. No plastic. Here, we aspire to create a community of likeminded people who care about making better choices while wearing pieces that bring joy to them and dignity to the people who made them.
