Driver Training Solutions' mission to challenge attitudes towards driver safety. Most driver safety programs are aimed at increasing safety through skills improvement e.g. Defensive Driving Courses. Whilst these programs certainly have their place, there is little evidence to suggest that they are effective in improving safe driver behaviours, particularly in the longer term. Our philosophy is to challenge driver attitudes and beliefs in a positive way, with the aim of creating a culture where driver safety becomes integral to the company’s overall safety culture. We work with organisations to define and develop a safe driver program that is relevant to their specific needs. The programs are designed to dovetail with existing OHS processes and procedures, wherever possible. Our programs are based on years of successful hands on driver training. This includes the creation and delivery of driver safety courses, programs and presentations, defensive driving courses, 4WD courses, and practical driver coaching (of all ages and abilities). This experience has placed us in a unique position of knowing what works in terms of improving driver safety. We work with your company to define and develop driver safety programs that meet your specific requirements. We are not in the business of delivering generic driver training courses.
