Driver Youth Trust

The Driver Youth Trust is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that all young people in our country who struggle with literacy get the support they deserve, so that they can reach their full potential. We work with teachers and decision makers to affect real change. Since 2007, we have grown from a grant giving organisation to a charity that is leading the way to transform provision in schools and the attitudes of those in power. We focus our resources on areas where we believe we can make a sustainable difference, creating systemic change in how young people who face literacy difficulties are supported in education. Drive for Literacy is our whole-school programme for schools, where we work in collaboration with teachers, leaders and parents, to create a culture where outcomes are improved for learners with literacy difficulties.
