Drla Landscape Architects

We are DRLA, a team that is dedicated to improve the physical world around us for everyone. Based out of our design offices in the heart of Limerick, we create vibrant outdoor spaces, master plans, and green infrastructure. We collaborate with Local Authorities and leading Architects and Engineers throughout Ireland. We work with a large variety of projects from smaller scale biodiversity gardens to larger scale housing developments and street refurbishments. Working as practical inventors with no fixed signature style, our motivation is to design meaningful and engaging places which embrace and celebrate the complexities of real life. Our approach is always to lead from human experience and to highlight pedestrian experience in our projects. We work with many different consultants ranging from local authorities to community groups. We believe strongly in collaboration and work diligently to bring all voices to the table. Projects undertaken include: large scale residential schemes for commercial clients and local authorities Streets and public squares Design Urban and green space planning Lighting and accessibility plans Industrial, commercial and education schemes Playgrounds Gardens and cemeteries.
