We are from Ramanathapuram district of Tamilnadu.Our district is considered as an industrially backward area as there are no major industries in the district and is highly drought prone because of the lack of rain and rivers. But we are blessed with one of the most important resource.India has a coastline of about 7,500 kms. The coastline of Tamil Nadu has a length of about 1076 kms constitutes about 15% of the total coastal length of India.Out of which Ramanathapuram has 237 KM of coastal length which is the longest in Tamilnadu. We designed a business model with our coastal resource.Rameswaram is well known for the traditionally prepared dry fishes by the local fishermen community.We are taking this traditional business to the whole new level. We are selling traditionally prepared dry fishes in Amazon,Flipkart and through our own website which is designed and developed by us.
