DSOD is a Chicago based multi-disciplinary firm with a focus on architecture and interior design. Our approach extends into urban planning, brand development, product design, and research. To think, evolve and to innovate is always part of our commitment to our clients who need creative and lasting solutions in a changing world. We define our practice through an integrated approach that involves the client as well as experts in building related fields early in the process. We approach each individual project with fresh thinking as unique onto itself within the broader context. We are passionate about possibilities in thinking and in making objects and spaces that shape our environment. We strive to create architecture that lasts, inspires, comforts and engages the senses. In our previous work our careers have taken us across a wide range of project types from single residence or retail store, to high rise projects and urban master plans in several domestic and international markets. We continue with our own firm to gain exposure and take part in a global cultural exchange of ideas by working in unique contextual, cultural and social landscapes. We use the latest software tools to conceptualize design and deliver projects, including visualization, environmental analysis and BIM. Technology enables us to deliver projects of increasing size and complexity as a small but flexible unit. Our collaboration and connections in the industry enable us to grow our team rapidly should the project need arise.
