Downtown Saskatoon isn’t just another part of the city, it’s a thriving heartbeat, the very pulse of Saskatoon that resonates throughout all the City’s districts and neighbourhoods. Downtown Saskatoon is all of us. As it grows, so does the city. Our role at the Downtown Saskatoon Business Improvement District (BID) is to support our Downtown business community by enhancing the experience of all who work, live, and visit Downtown Saskatoon. Our goal is to help amplify the voices within Downtown, elevate the opportunities in the district, and assist in maintaining our district’s appearance, both on a physical and non-physical level. Downtown Saskatoon (BID) operates as a non-profit organization, and we focus on a range of services to enhance and promote the district. Through our Clean Team, marketing, and advocacy work, we are here for everything Downtown Saskatoon. Our most common BID services include: street maintenance; beautification; safety; promotion and animation of the commercial district. BIDs also frequently team up with community partners to hold special events such as street fairs, parades, artisan exhibitions and more.
