Founded in Dudley Gates was borne out of a need for an improved, double acting, ADA compliant, swing gate for the transit rail industry. Dudley engineers set out to meet that need, designing the first low cost, ADA compliant swing gate with a patented above-floor closer mechanism. Dudley gates are proud to be used in the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit, the Chicago Transit Authority, Philadelphia ’s SEPTA, San Francisco ’s MUNI, and New York University among others.
