Duke Honor Council

The Duke University Honor Council works to promote thoughtful consideration and discussion about honor, integrity, and moral courage and engage the Duke University community with the questions: What do honor, integrity, and moral courage mean to you? The Council hosts Duke's annual Integrity Week, which features a week-long series of distinguished speakers and activities that bring honor to the forefront of campus discussion. In addition, the Council sponsors smaller activities throughout the semester as part of the monthly themes relating to different aspects of honor and integrity in the real-world. These small-scale initiatives also include tabling, flyering, writing a biweekly column in the newspaper, and distributing information through social media outlets.
