Dust Nuggets

In this complex and intellectually provocative film, KK Colson is the band manager of the wildly successful Dust Nuggets band. Currently she's in a coma from a drug overdose and reliving her band's rise to fame as she struggles with the choice of whether to live or die. The film is comical at times with scenes that anyone who’s ever been in a band will identify with. At heart, though, the story is a drama, portraying KK as she faces the truth of her complicity in her lover’s death. With two story lines running concurrently along with a roadmap written in rhyme, the film has been described as David Lynch meets Dr. Seuss. Cast includes Eric Roberts (Inherent Vice, Dark Knight) and Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager, The Wonder Years, China Beach).
