On the ground floor of the municipal office, prominently located on the Grote Kerkhof, a Sustainability Centre will open its doors for two years from January. Sustainability is on the radar of an increasing number of people and companies, but it is not so easy to actually take steps in this direction. The world of sustainability can be very confusing. And depressing. Every measure you take has so many drawbacks. How do you know what really makes sense? Does it all make any sense at all? The Sustainability Centre wants to make sustainable living fun and simple again. Because there are really a lot of things you can do that make a difference. We are going to help you to make choices in this area. In the end, we can't decide for you whether you want to become a flexitarian, go to work on a bicycle, or buy an expensive heat pump. That choice is yours. But we can provide you with independent, scientifically substantiated information and think along with you to make choices that suit you. And we'll help you find out how you can do this in practice and how to pay for it.
