E-Traction

e-Traction primarily aims at designing and implementing direct-drive in-wheel electric traction systems for automotive and heavy-duty application. This in-house development is sold under the name 'TheWheel'. These traction systems need a suitable traction 'infrastructure': battery systems, vehicle management systems and auxilliary power systems such as Diesel generators. e-Traction designs most of these components to complement the in-wheel system. As a result, e-Traction is capable of completely designing hybrid or fully electric drivelines for vehicles ranging from city buses to SUV's.
