Eagle & Oak Our mission is to support and enable anyone working in culture, heritage or landscapes to understand and develop their work, using our rich and varied experiences. We're an independent transformation consultancy. Our work is based on authenticity, sustainability and creativity and informed by over twenty years of varied experience in all four corners of England and overseas. Founded by Jon Breton (O'Donoghue), in 2022 - Eagle & Oak brings together consultants in all areas of culture, heritage, and landscapes to ensure clients can face the future with understanding, confidence, and excitement. Eagle & Oak is a commercial member of the Museums Association (the only organisation for all museums in the four nations of the UK). Eagle & Oak is a commercial member of the Association of Cultural Enterprises, the only charity and trade body for the arts, heritage and cultural sector that brings together learning, experience and best practice in revenue generation, representing over 1,650 sites across the UK and beyond. Eagle & Oak is also a member of the International Council for Museums (ICOM). Jon is a member of the International committee on Museology (ICOFOM), and he also has interest in the Historic Houses (DEMHIST), Architecture & Museum Techniques (ICAMT) and Training of Personnel (ICTOP) committees Consultancy services: Site Visits: Identify quick wins and areas for development, provide detailed reports. Half-day for small sites, full-day for larger ones. Workshops: Facilitate pre-prepared or develop bespoke workshops; with preparation, support, and follow-up. Project Teams: Offer business development expertise and join project teams. Training & Mentoring: Online or in-person. Group or 1:1. Lectures & Talks: Engaging lectures, talks, and panel events (chair or participate) by founder Jon Breton (O’Donoghue).
