Eanm Technologists Committee

Since its inception, the European Association of Nuclear Medicine’s Technologist Committee has been committed to elevate the standards of practice of the Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) all over Europe. Continuous education, professional development and scientific progress have been the main focuses of the committee activities throughout the years. To persecute these goals, many have been the activities of the Committee and many are the projects that are still under development. The EANM-TC is currently and actively involved in the provision of educational initiatives during the EANM annual congress and also within the ESMIT organization, as well as the support of educational initiatives within the Central Eastern European countries. Also, the TC publishes annually a Technologist Guide that is the result of the collaboration of many authors that give their expertise to compose this book. The discussion and harmonization of competencies of european NMT has been considered for the past years and is still an important topic within the committee activities. Many global initiatives have been promoted along the past years, addressing topics that reflect common needs of NMT global community.
