EarthShare New Jersey works to mobilize the people of New Jersey to conserve & protect our air, water, land & wildlife to create a cleaner, healthier & safer place to live, work & play. Founded in 1994 by 16 of the state’s leading 501(c)3 non-profit environmental organizations, the organization is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit with its own governing board and services three different populations: employers, members, and individuals. ESNJ is a partner with employers across the state offering programs & services to enhance their philanthropic & environmental commitments. We work with employers with as few as 3 & some with over employees all over New Jersey & the country. They partner with ESNJ ( & the EarthShare network) because we provide one point of contact for hundreds of leading environmental organizations. This saves time & resources when they are interested in making an environmental connection. We frequently customize programs & services to meet their objectives & mission. Partnering on issues related to Corporate Social Responsibility & sustainability has become a key component of many relationships. Some of the programs we offer include volunteer opportunities, educational presentations & tools, charity campaigns, and Green Team support. ESNJ members are environmental non-profits from across New Jersey & around the country. We carefully review our members annually so corporate partners are assured of the quality they represent. We provide our members with exposure opportunities, volunteers, networking experiences, leadership development, unrestricted funding & more. Connecting individuals with the environment is the cornerstone of what we do. Whether connecting with people in the workplace, at special events, or community fairs, ESNJ provides the opportunity to learn more about their community, make a difference where they live, work or play, and change the environmental outlook for the future.
