East Coast Algae is a microalgae R&D group focused on wild-strain discovery, isolation and cultivation, and translation into biotech and education. We design proof-of-concepts, lab protocol, and pilot trials for applications in sustainable agriculture, bioactive discovery, environmental remediation and global food security. Design education and pathways that link classroom learning to aquatic ecosystems, climate resilience and sustainability. Work closely with our creative arm Steph Rose Microscapes (SRM) to create educational opportunities for students and community. We work with aligned universities, industry, agencies and organisations.
