A culinary tour company based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Eat Rio started Rio's first culinary tours ("Eat Rio Food Tours") in 2013 and has since given thousands of guests (in small groups) the unique experience of exploring this amazing city through its culinary traditions. Eat Rio Food Tours is the highest rated activity in TripAdvisor's Food & Drink category for Rio and received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2015 and 2016. Eat Rio has worked with large companies such as PBS, Lufthansa and British Airways, and also small groups and individuals including countless journalists, chefs, food and travel writers. We put a strong emphasis on supporting small, independent local businesses that are often overlooked by Rio's mainstream tourism industry.
