eAWARE is a unique safeguarding solution for schools which allows teachers to assess, educate and track improvement in their pupils’ knowledge of online dangers. Our platform helps empower young people with the skills they need to stay safe online and, unlike website blocking, which only keeps students protected on the school network, allows young people to be safe while getting the most out of the online world. The learning objectives are carried out through age appropriate short videos which cover issues such as cyberbullying, fake news, sexting and how to stay safe on social media and have been designed by our team of educational psychologists and child protection experts. Our learning videos are supplemented with lesson plans, teacher briefings and classroom materials created by teachers and digital curriculum specialists, which teachers can use for free to help educate their pupils on the online world. eAWARE also recognises the increased time pressures & importance teaching bodies are now placing on educating digital citizenship, with schools budgets often not stretching to provide adequate staff training. The eAWARE platform addresses this through continuously updated teacher briefing videos, which offer short, easily accessible advice and information on topics that really matter to teaching staff.
