The Enterprise Europe Network, governed by European Commission, helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide. It brings together experts from more than 600 member organisations – all renowned for their excellence in business support. European Business and Innovation Center (EBIC-EGE) which is one of the active centers of the Enterprise Europe Network is being executed by a consortium comprising of Ege University Science and Technology center (E.U EBILTEM-TTO), Denizli Chamber of Coomerce (DTO) and Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO). The consortium takes its power from the experiences gained by previous projects, IRC-EGE and Euro Info Center. EBIC-EGE, is active in the Aegean Region of Turkey since 2008 and provides information and consultancy services to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as researchers about internalisation, technology transfer, commercial collaboration, partner search, investment opportunities, EU legal arrangements and Horizon 2020 programme.
