Eble Messerschmidt Partner (formerly Joachim Eble Architektur) is a leading practice with more than 40 years of experience in sustainable urban planning, neighbourhood development, and architecture – with a focus on residential housing. We design healthy, inclusive, and future-oriented living environments by integrating ecology, economy, and community. Our projects combine energy-efficient, resource-saving, and climate-responsive architecture and urban planning with contemporary design. A key strength are our participatory planning processes, actively involving stakeholders and future users. Through an established network of multidisciplinary national and international partners and continuous engagement in research and innovation, we pioneer holistic urban concepts that connect architecture, landscape, and ecological infrastructure into resilient and liveable environments. This includes blue green infrastructure, sustainable mobility and carbon zero strategies aiming for climate protection and climate adaptation. As very active members of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), we contribute to the development of the DGNB system – applying this as a planning tool and as auditors for DGNB certifications. Our mission is to create liveable, resilient, and inspiring spaces that shape sustainable communities of tomorrow.
