Ebony Life Publishing

Ebony Life publishes memory, arts and educational activity resources such as colouring books, jigsaws and word games for seniors, those living with dementia and children. With a focus on materials for the African Caribbean community. Dementia memory and arts activities such as colouring, word games and jigsaws have been shown to be excellent ways to help people living with dementia stay active, engaged, and whilst improving cognitive skills in some cases. As a black-led dementia company, we discovered that there was a dearth of culturally appropriate resources. This led us to create a unique range of reminiscence activity resources that reflected the culture and experiences of the African Caribbean community. It is also important for us to promote an awareness of African and Caribbean Culture and achievements, through arts and education. We aim to achieve this through our themed storybooks, jigsaws etc for children between the ages of 4-12 years.
