Ebonygypsy Arts is a multi-artistically based co-operation which engages in the prospects of arts development, exploring various channels to create and better employment opportunities in South Africa. We are a private blossoming business driven by passion and standard, determined to make our mark through our creative innovative ideas. Our main objective as a company is to re-direct the understanding of what creativity is as an industry, re-evaluating the standards our country has set for it, and doing our part in growing our nation’s economy. Art has over the years taken the back seat despite all other industries being nurtured and groomed to survive and gain recognition as different types of commerce. In this industry; • Funds are inter-generated • Artists experience great exploitation • Funds and resources are inaccessible • No one respects a true artist • No actual exposure is given • Artists use unfit and restricted work stations if and when available • And if there’s no steady income As a business that depends greatly on an audience, we have made it our responsibility to create a means of sustaining ourselves and making a difference to the community by creating a unit which’ll look beyond clubbing and drug abuse for entertainment.
