Echo Cove Research & Consulting is a small custom market research/consulting firm founded in1995 by Richard Schreuer. Schreuer was the Chief Methodologist and SVP of Boston-based Chadwick Martin Bailey, which he spent 25 years helping build into the highly respected market research firm it is today. Echo Cove is a “virtual” firm that assembles specialized teams on a project/client basis and strictly limits the number of simultaneous projects. This approach allows Echo Cove to offer a truly unique value proposition: sophisticated quantitative research that is both higher quality and less expensive than that available from “traditional” firms. This is possible for two reasons: 1) the “virtual” business model eliminates most overhead costs; 2) the limited number of projects ensures that Schreuer can be fully engaged on each one – execution is never delegated to junior researchers. We work across industries, specializing in branding (assessment, positioning, tracking), customer experience (loyalty, satisfaction, advocacy), product development/pricing (configuration, profit/portfolio optimization), and segmentation. We use the latest analytic techniques (including latent class modeling, dual-choice discrete choice, anchored Max Diff, Shapely Value regression). We work directly with end-clients as well as management, branding, and advertising consultancies on both individual projects as well as enhancing their inhouse research offerings.
