Started in 1960 by Frank Echols, the business is family run and is currently managed by Frank’s step-son, Mark Ashe, who grew up in the business. That many decades in business means Echols Roofing & Home Improvements will be there for the life of the work they warranty. While Echols began as a roofing company, over the years they have added exterior home improvements, carpentry repairs, basement finishing, decks, siding, windows and doors. Mark Ashe, the owner, has served the industry statewide for decades and has been president for the Georgia Roofing Contractor Association. He has also aided on the testing and licensing committee for new roofers in Georgia.
