Eco Options is a women-led social enterprise at the forefront of transforming menstrual health. Our mission involves offering sustainable and eco-friendly menstrual products that prioritise comfort, convenience, and affordability while fostering an eco-conscious approach to menstruation. Our product range is either recyclable or biodegradable, contributing significantly to the reduction of the prevailing volume of period plastic waste. In addition to our commitment to sustainable products, we are dedicated to promoting menstrual health education within our communities. By providing essential information, we strive to empower and support the health, autonomy, and informed consent of all menstruators. Our overarching goal is to reshape societal attitudes and enhance lives by introducing innovative sustainable period options accessible to everyone, irrespective of economic background. Through the power of business, we address the social and environmental challenges stemming from period poverty in Uganda.
