Eco-Social Development Organization

Being a peoples' centered organization, we envisioned a society that will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Over the last thirty years of relentless efforts to make this happen, we have embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to facilitate the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, we have adapted to the changing situation and provided the most time-bound effective services especially to the poor and disadvantaged people. Taking into account the government development policies, we are currently implementing a considerable number of projects and programs including a micro-finance program through a community-focused and people-centered approach to accomplish the government’s development agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN as a whole. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 283 Upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
