Eco K9 Consulting provides a range of environmental services to North and Central Queensland. We are Queenslands only company deploying experienced detection dogs for birds and bat fatality estimation on wind farms, as well as targeted threatened species detection projects, with teams currently work across numerous wind farms. Our dogs are additionally trained on northern quoll, koala, and greater glider. Our ecologists have doctorates in ecology and animal behaviour, and 20+ years industry experience in senior, principal and managerial ecological roles. We have 9 detection dogs trained for threatened species detection and wind farm fatality estimation (birds and bats) and 2 additional dogs completing training. Our combined ecological and detection dog expertise means we can support you through the process of fatality estimation. We also carry out ecological works and currently assist several conservation organisations in delivering threatened and invasive species monitoring programs in the Wet Tropics, Einasleigh Uplands, and Cape York.
