Economic Thinking
Understanding and Creating Properity" Economic Thinking's Mission is to teach students how economic freedom, property rights, and the rule of law create progress and prosperity in American and around the world. We connect homeschool, high school, and college students directly to leading scholars from well-established free-market groups. We are working with speech and debate clubs nationwide to deepen the discussion of debate policy topics. Students, parents, and teachers are learning, reading and downloading the latest on free-market solutions to public policy issues through these Economic Thinking programs:* Seminars and Workshops * Guest Talks * Websites * Articles and Links * Books and Bideos * Economics in a Box Curriculum We target speech and debate because of the time and intellectual energy they invest in studying public policy issues; and they put these newly learned ideas to work immediately in their arguments and cases. Debate students are ‘idea’ leaders among their peers, and continue to influence others through college and in their professional careers.
