Ecosan Services Foundation, India

Ecosan Services Foundation (ESF) is a section-8 non-profit organization committed to solving pressing challenges in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector in India, through sustainable sanitation and water management solutions. Established in 2006, with support from GIZ (German Corporation for International Cooperation), ESF specializes in delivering end-to-end solutions in sustainable sanitation and water management by combining technical expertise, cross sectoral partnerships and evidence-driven field insights. We believe that solving India’s most pressing WASH challenges requires a multi-dimensional and inclusive approach. Our work spans diverse segments of society, including corporates, academia, research institutions, and communities, ensuring that the impact is both deep and scalable. Through our work, we strive to integrate on-ground implementation with knowledge creation and capacity building, forming a holistic model that drives long-term change in the WASH ecosystem.
