Eco.System has developed new technology to be used in the transformation, recovery and processing of potentially infectious biomedical waste, contributing to the maintenance of a healthy and safe environment and to the promotion of sustainable development. Ecosyst's certified and patented technology sterilizes, shreds and recycles infectious biomedical waste by means of efficient and fully automated plants. Integrated pre-shredding and high pressure steam treatment provide a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to recycling biomedical waste into refuse-derived fuel. The specially-designed plants are easy to install and are engineered to result in a waste volume reduction of up to 80%, while generating no liquid or environmental emissions. The machinery is designed and built in Italy according to European Directives and health institute norms, and provide a more efficient, safer and economically feasible means of treating and disposing of hazardous biomedical waste.
