The diversified group of companies is structurally organised into the following business segments based on their products and services: ENERGY The Energy segment is a major growth engine for the Group which operates power plants as independent power producers. The Sungai Kenerong plant is a 20 megawatt (“MW”) hydroelectric power plant located in Kuala Krai, Kelantan and the Libaran plant is a 30MW contracted capacity thermal power plant located in Sandakan, Sabah. The company has a proven track record in developing, operating, and maintaining the current power plants. FOOD & BEVERAGE The hallmark of EDEN Group’s Food & Beverage segment has always been the excellent food, courteous service and value for money offerings specialising in Western, Oriental and Malay cuisine. The company operates central kitchens in Selangor and Penang which covers dining and catering services throughout Peninsular Malaysia. TOURISM Underwater World Langkawi Sdn. Bhd. is the primary driver of this segment and has remained a ‘must visit’ attraction in Pulau Langkawi, Kedah. The focal point of the company is to drive research and development activities pertaining to marine conservation and penguin husbandry.
