Edenesque creates delicious chef-crafted, plant-based dairy products that provide superior nutrition so our customers can Be the Love™ – for themselves, their communities, the environment, and their local economy. We believe that love is actionable – in all the acts of compassion and joy that we show ourselves and our communities every day. What began as a one-woman offering across New York farmers markets more than ten years ago, has grown into a mission-driven company with the love and support of the communities that welcomed us from the beginning, as well as all the new communities we are creating now. Edenesque was founded by Leslie Woodward, a chef with more than two decades of culinary experience. As a Black woman, chef, and business owner, Leslie’s lived experience is deeply affected by the intersecting challenges of climate change, health, food insecurity, and justice, and she integrates her values into every aspect of the business. It is Leslie’s profound hope and calling to deliver delicious, nourishing, and indulgent products that foster whole health, with great ingredients that support environmental sustainability, and have a positive impact on the community. We are a BIPOC, LGBTQ, woman-owned & led company on a mission to advance social justice through nourishment. As part of that mission, it is our privilege to lead the Edenesque Food Insecurity Initiative™, a multi-faceted program dedicated to addressing food insecurity in our communities in partnership with local programs, agencies, kitchens, and farms. In 2024, we are thrilled to expand our reach and continue establishing incredible relationships with exceptional gourmet markets, coffee shops, institutions, and communities.
