EDG Consulting is a privately owned Australian company providing design, engineering, advice and geosciences services for a range of market sectors. In 2023 EDG became part of the TYPSA Group, with the intent of building on its reputation and expertise to grow the business, while keeping true to the principles upon which it was founded. The overlapping and complimentary skills of the two organisations provides strong technical capabilities and delivers opportunities for growth and staff development. Our company philosophy is to have an engaged group of like-minded people undertaking excellent engineering in a collegiate atmosphere. Together with TYPSA Group, our business enjoys part employee ownership, to engage our people to deliver the best outcomes and solutions for clients. We have a social conscience and aim to contribute to both charities and the engineering industry. We will use our experience in design and construction to understand your objectives and needs, and then will work with you to develop practical and cost effective designs that meet your requirements. We provide a broad range of services including engineering design services for both temporary and permanent works and construction phase services. Our services include full design, drawings and specification for structures made of, or interacting with the earth. In addition, we provide engineering advice, forensic investigations and expert opinion and will undertake geotechnical investigation and data collection, development and interpretation of geological and geotechnical models, to support our design and advice.
