Edie Eckman

Edie Eckman is a designer, author and teacher who loves both knitting and crochet. She teaches at conventions, shops and guilds around the country. Her latest passion is finding fun new ways to combine disciplines: knitting, crocheting, sewing and other crafts. She is the author of The Crochet Answer Book, Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs, How to Knit Socks: Three Methods Made Easy and most recently, Around the Corner Crochet Borders. Edie also serves as a technical editor for yarn companies and independent publishers and is a contributing editor to Creative Knitting magazine. Her designs have appeared in Knitters, Interweave Crochet, Creative Knitting, Knit N Style and many other publications. She has taught at Stitches, The National Needlearts Association, The Knit & Crochet Show, Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Fair, Rhinebeck, and many other national venues, as well as at local shops and guilds.
