Edinburgh Designs is a world leader in hydrodynamic test equipment and has been specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of a wide range of wave and tidal generators since 1987. In the last eight years Edinburgh Designs has installed many multi-paddle wave test tanks with a total of more than 700 paddles across the world. We have developed a range of wavemaker designs that combine robust mechanical systems with a sophisticated digital controller specifically designed for wave tanks. All our customers have different research goals so the designs are continuously being adapted and improved.
