Editecture

Editecture is a design studio that works with architects, brands, and institutions to create circular architecture, interiors, exhibitions, brand environments, and public installations. We turn existing and leftover materials into spaces and experiences that feel considered, resilient, and built to last beyond a single moment. Circularity, for us, is designed in from the beginning. We think about where materials come from, how they are fabricated, how people move through and use a space, and what happens when a project needs to change or come down. The aim is simple: a project’s afterlife is part of the brief, not an afterthought. The core studio, Editecture, leads design and delivery across buildings, interiors, temporary structures, and brand experiences. We act as a design partner, helping project teams make concrete decisions about layout, materials, fabrication, and reuse in real conditions, not just in diagrams. reEDIT is the material and circularity engine behind this work. It is where we test and catalogue reclaimed and low-impact materials, develop prototypes, and translate them into products, installations, and components that can slot into architectural and interior projects. Edit Academy carries this practice into education for young people, with workshops and programmes that give children and students hands-on experience with new materials and simple circular ways of making and building - skills and ways of thinking they rarely encounter in the standard school curriculum. Across all three, our focus is on projects that work in the real world, hold up under use, and can be taken apart and reconfigured when their first life is over.
