Edith Sanford

The Edith Sanford Breast Cancer initiative is a national nonprofit focused on unlocking the potential of genomics to improve breast cancer prevention, treatment and survivorship-and ultimately raise the standard of care for women and men everywhere. By leveraging the latest innovations in DNA sequencing technology, our research team is striving toward a more precise understanding of how genes interact to influence breast cancer development and progression. That insight will ultimately lead to personalized prevention and treatment strategies tailored to each individual’s unique genomic profile. 100% of every dollar we raise is invested directly in our genomics research, conducted within a nimble, integrated health system, in collaboration with partners nationwide. This bold, accelerated approach is key to sparing future generations the pain and suffering of breast cancer–and ending this disease.
