Editions Tensing

Editions Tensing publish short stories, novels, poems. Mountaineering, traveling around the world, discovering different cultures are the main themes of the books published so far. Editions Tensing were were founded in January 2011 by Eric Jacquet-Lagreze. He was born in Fécamp (France) in 1947. He spent his childhood in this town on the coast of Normandy in the days when the trawlers still departed for the fishing grounds of Newfoundland. These seascapes and his love of sailing and long sea voyages have provided much of the inspiration for his writings. His wide experience of mountaineering and his journeys to India and the Himalayas are also reflected in both the collection of his short stories, Namasté and in his novel, The Cedars of Kanchenjunga.
