Edo College
Edo College, Benin City was founded in February, 1937. It is the oldest Secondary Grammar School in the Mid-Western Region of Nigeria, now known as Edo State. It started as the Benin Middle School with junior forms I, II, and In April 1937, with a total student enrollment of 76 pupils, the school moved from its temporary site at the old Government School, Benin City to a location presently occupied presently by Idia College in Benin City. In 1973, the school further moved from the present Idia College premises to its permanent site along Murtala Mohammed Way, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
