EdReserve is a Course Reservation System (CRS) for higher education institutions that balances supply with demand using insights into what, when, and how college students want to take courses. This helps maximize fill rates and minimize oversubscribed sections. EdReserve is an easy-to-deploy technology solution developed to maximize fill rates and minimize the number of sections while reducing student’s anxiety in getting the courses they need. Students communicate their intent by requesting reservations for courses (w/o sections) and mapping their availability in EdReserve months before the section schedule is finalized by the institution. EdReserve provides heatmaps, match-lists, and forecasted fill-rates, allowing institutions to better plan sections and modalities to maximize seat occupancy and classroom utilization. EdReserve automatically holds seats in matched sections in the SIS, respecting priority groups and without changing the existing registration process.
