Eduardo Figueroa

Eduardo Figueroa is a designer graduated from Seattle Art Institute, from then on he returned to Guatemala and has returned to Guatemala, and has developed over 8 collections. His work has been characterized for using artisan made fabrics and woven materials in contemporary designs. The designs and tailors unique prêt-à-porter pieces for each of his clients. In 2012, he designed a gown for Monique Aparicio, Miss Mundo Guatemala, and was picked as best of his category by Nick Verreos. Since November 2014 he has been presenting in all of the editions of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Guatemala show with his collections K’IEM (2014), XAR-HA (2015), SIK’INELAB'(2016) – where he is awarded Designer of the year, and K’ABEL (2018) where he launched his men and accessory lines. Internationally, he has presented in collaboration with Roots Leather Co. at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week El Paso 2016. And in August 2017 he presents the collection SIK’INELAB’ at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week San José (Costa Rica). Part of the EPSON Digital Couture Project 2018, presenting 3 pieces showcasing both the colors and textures that represent a small part of Guatemala’s wide culture.
