Education Through Music

Founded in 1991, Education Through Music (ETM) is a nonprofit organization that has provided over 9.5 million hours of music education in NYC public schools. ETM promotes the use of music as a means of enhancing students' academic performance and general development. By providing year-long, in-school music education programs as a core subject with a dedicated staff of teachers and support management, ETM makes music education a reality for thousands of children who would otherwise have limited or no exposure to music instruction at school.
