Educational Communications, Inc, founded in 1958, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Programs are coordinated by volunteers and funded by individual donations, corporate contributions, and governmental grants. The social, peace, and artistic projects complement the environmental activities. Educational Communications, Inc. along with Executive Director Nancy Pearlman have received a multitude of honors and awards including The Global 500 Laureate from the United Nations Environment Programme. Projects include: Environmental Directions Radio, ECONEWS Television, Project Ecotourism, Ecology Center of Southern California, etc.
