Edward Porembny

Edward Porembny was born in Poland and started his career in Paris, France, where he obtained a degree in Film and Art. He then moved to London where he funded the production company Arcadia Moving Pictures and he moulded a successful career making documentaries, winning several awards in the process, for leading broadcasters around the world, including Channel 4, Canal +, France 2, France 3 and TF1. With Poland becoming part of the European Union, Edward went to Poland and ventured into feature filmmaking. He also founded there the Polish production company AMP Polska and within a year he completed his first feature film, the UK/Polish co-production, ‘Inheritance’.
